The plant nursery and cultivations

Gresense possesses its own plant nursery in Mesimeri, Thessaloniki, where aromatic plants are produced by cuttings, with the daily care of our specialized personnel. Since Gresense has cultivated more than 800 m2 of its own lavender and 30 m2 of helichrysum in the region of Mesimeri, it has the necessary technical knowledge and experience to cultivate aromatic plants in various types of soil and climate. Meanwhile, Gresense offers all necessary advice and information, in order to achieve the largest possible output of essential oils, always taking into account soil and climate conditions of the respective region. After this stage, our experienced personnel takes on the harvesting of your aromatic plants, which takes place thoroughly with the help of our advanced harvesting machines, under constant supervision. But Gresense’s services do not end there! We also take over the trade of the final product in domestic market, and mainly in international market, through the wide network of our partners. Subsequently, Gresense supports the producers through all stages and ensures the high quality and quantity of the final product.
